How We Give Back

 

Supporting Local School

Built and installed a gaga pit and benches for the kids at Sunset Valley Elementary.  

 

Built a Wheelchair Ramp

Members joined with another Rotary Club and Texas Ramp Project Austin to build a much needed ramp.

 

Helping the Homeless

South Austin Rotary supports a Clothes Closet and Soup Kitchen at a 170 bed transitional housing facility in southeast Austin.

News About The Club

South Austin Rotary Club to the rescue! The Clothes Closet at Common Ground ATX, a facility that provides housing and support services for individuals transitioning out of homelessness or incarceration, was in dire need of organizing. Saturday morning, seven club members brought donations and worked for over three hours sorting and marking shoes and clothing so they can more easily be selected for donation to those in need at the Common Ground ATX facility.

Wednesday, April 23 | 4:00PM - 8:00PM at Raising Cane's 5601 Brodie Ln. Sunset Valley, TX. Mention the fundraiser at the Restaurant or apply code RCFUND96 to online or app orders at checkout and Cane's will donate 15% of Net Sales' to:
