Whitney Meyers - Sacred Stories
Nov. 13, 2024
I have always been fascinated by people’s life journeys. I find inspiration in the courage it takes to share our stories, and I am drawn to the moments when history becomes personal and the universal connections within our human family are revealed. I started “Sacred Stories” to record people’s life stories on film. The mission is simple: to provide you & your family with a legacy film production, to document for a wider audience the wisdom of our time, and to do my part to create a culture of listening. I’m excited about this work because I believe that every life is a story worth sharing & there is no time like the present. |

It's really creative and spectacular. https://waterloogreenway.org/creek-show/ We can get early admission tickets for Wednesday, November 13 for $12 a piece. This allows us to enter between 6pm-7pm and bypass the larger line of attendees waiting until after 7. Please RSVP to Patty Hoyt by November 1 so tickets she can purchase tickets.

Lindsey Hagen -Little People of America
Nov. 20, 2024
Lindsey Hagen is a past President of the Rotary Club of Austin Centennial, and a current member of the Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary Club. She was born with achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism. Since 1984, she's been a proud member of Little People of America (LPA), an organization dedicated to providing awareness and advocacy for short-statured individuals and their families. Through advocacy and support, people of short stature have made significant milestones in areas of employment and inclusion, but there's more work to do. Come hear stories and learn about ways to support this community. |
