Xochitl is the Community Building Volunteer Coordinator at Foundation Communities - a homegrown Austin organization that assists individuals and families with housing, education services, financial wellness, and healthy living. They serve many students, parents, seniors, veterans, & individuals with disabilities. Xochitl will be providing a background on Foundation Communities and their programs, locations, and many ways to get involved.

Tracey Schwartz - Mindful College Steps

https://www.mindfulcollegesteps.com A local Southwest Austin resident, mother, and Independent College Counselor (Mindful College Steps), Tracey Schwartz combines a professional mental health counseling background with more than 10 years of experience in higher education to empathically prepare each student for their upcoming educational journey.
Tracey completed her Master of Arts in Counseling degree at Missouri Baptist University, where she graduated with both licensure and school counseling tracks. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree from Maryville University in Rehabilitation Services and a minor in Psychology. She has also completed the UCLA College Counseling Certificate program.
Tracey is a 1:1 Essay Coach and Full Application Reviewer at College Essay Guy, where she has read and given feedback on hundreds, if not thousands, of essays over the past 5 years. Tracey keeps updated on current admissions trends in the higher education landscape through continuous professional development, and has essay coach training monthly throughout each college application season.
