• Amber had a special presentation for Shirley.  Governor Jeff asked her to present a beautiful scarf from the international assembly in honor of her contributions to the Foundation
  • Our DAP proposal has been accepted. We proposed to add some nature elements to Todos Juntos Learning Center playscape: windmill, birdbaths and bird houses, windchimes, etc. (We may need to devise a plan b and plan c.)
  • Patty Hoyt - report on bat watching social.  Bat watching cruise on September 24 at 6:45pm. RSVP right away so she can buy tickets before it sells out.
  • World's Largest Polio Walk on Oct. 24 at 10 AM in Sunset Valley. Lisa and Linda walked the Savannah trail, starting from Doc's Back Yard parking lot. It's a short flat walk - we thought maybe people could walk it twice. If you want more adventure, you can depart from this trail to one of the more rugged trails that branch off. Get your End Polio Now t shirt from the Swag store.

  • October 3, Club fundraiser - Runway to Paradise Party at the Frank Fickett Scout Center. Lisa report on sales. Amber report on party.  Sell those tickets!!!  Through Friday $6100 in tickets.  192 tickets.  Want to have them all sold by October 1. Based on Lisa’s estimates, we will be in plus column for expenses.  Amber shares that Facebook posts are upcoming highlighting celebrity models.  Share posts that Pam puts up!
