Patty and her husband, Jim, have two daughters and three young grandchildren who live in California and Kansas City, which keeps them traveling often! Patty was a PTA mom who became very involved at several levels and eventually went to work for a non-profit associated with the school and the police to help keep children safe. Later she became a founding member of her Rotary club in California.
She served as President and Assistant Governor and was quite active.In 2021 they both retired and took a year long exploration trip across the United States looking for their retirement home.They chose Austin.After a short time into retired life in Austin, she realized that she missed her Rotary family and went in search of a new Rotary home.She selected our club.We are the lucky winners, so glad to have Patty as a member, two years this month!
