Intro to Club Runner Site
I am thrilled to introduce our new club runner website to each of you! Please take 5-10 mins to access www.southaustinrotary.com and explore some of the new things we now have access to. Our web-site is a direct connection to club runner which is the program that takes each of our individual information and connects it as a club, it also takes all the individual clubs and connects them into a district and then all the districts in to Rotary International. This is a very powerful integration that puts all of our information into one place.
The first thing that I would like to ask you to do is to review your personal information in club runner.
v In the upper right hand corner of the home page is a "login"
Ø Next you will be prompted to enter your clubrunner user name and password
§ If you do not know your user name and password click on the "Forgot your password" link.
§ On the Get Password page, type in your last name and email address.
§ Click on "Get Login Info"
§ Check your email for your default username and password.

v Now that you have access take a moment to make sure your information is up to date.
Ø EDIT MY PROFILE will be the first link in the middle of the menu. Here you can update your email, phone number, spouse information, etc. PLEASE fill in the information regarding your birthday,
Ø CHANGE MY PASSWORD. Here you can change your password to something more memorable if you would like.
Ø UPLOAD A PICTURE. This would be very helpful in our efforts to make a club directory. HINT HINT: If you choose to upload your own photo… I promise not to sneak one of you and do it myself.
Ø There are many other areas to explore and I encourage you to look around.
v Now that you have had an opportunity to see how clubrunner is integrated into our website it will make sense to discuss how this helps our club.

Ø A web-based “home” to retain important documents of the club. Aka bylaws.
Ø Invoicing for club members... you will all receive your first web-generated invoice soon!
Ø Communications... this allow us to distribute emails to the entire club, the club board, or selected committee members very easily.
Ø The WEB-SITE: A place to announce upcoming events, to attract new members, and to stay connected.
Ø Please take a look around and review the information that has been added to our new site.
Ø All feedback is appreciated and we would love to hear your thoughts. If you see something that needs to be cut/added/or rephrased please let myself or Linda Voigt know.
Ø This is our club’s site and it will take the input of many for it to be truly reflective of “us.”
