Good Resolutions – What made you feel good in 2024?
  • President Shirley quoted several ways for  “How to Future-Proof Your Happiness in the New Year”.  She then asked what members did last year that made them happy and that they’d repeat in the new year:
    • Shirley—enjoying Early Act First Knight
    • Simon Garza—attending Andrew Boccelli concert
    • Lisa Killough—having experiential events such as concerts with neighbors
    • Steve Ross—Asking someone to Rotary.  He sold his car recently and has asked the salesman to Rotary

  • The Rose Bowl Parade again had a Rotary float with the theme, “On the Road with Rotary” which won the Tournament Volunteer Award.

  • The Belton Club is having a Days for Girls Workday on Jan 25 from 9-12; this is the club’s DAP grant event.  They will have several other days later in the year.
  • Mickie Powers announced that our West Coast member and web designer extraordinaire, Pam Blankenzee, is in the middle of the Los Angeles fires.  Please keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
