January Member Spotlight: Jim McComb. SOUTH AUSTIN ROTARY is all about service, community and family! Meet our Club Treasurer, Jim McComb: Retired commercial general contractor, first joined Rotary in1978, St Charles Mo. work transfer to Austin in 1984 & joined South Austin Rotary. Business travel kept me from making meetings so I transferred to Austin down town.
After 20 years downtown I started a new club in Onion Creek. After 4 years we merged with South Austin and I came full circle. My current experience with South Austin has shown me what Rotary is all about. We have a great club and are an example of Service Above Self. Married to my high school sweetheart, have 2 sons and 5 grandchildren.
