Message, from Mickie Powers, Director of South Austin Market Place Transitional Housing: " I want to thank you on behalf of the residents of South Austin Market Place Transitional Housing. You have generously supported our soup kitchen and today we had a marvelous Easter meal. Our menu included turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes stuffing, fruit salad, green bean casserole and an ice cream sundae. Your support of the kitchen on behalf of some of our most needy is truly in keeping with the Rotarian value of making a difference. In this picture, one of our residents, Paul Everson, is helping me serve. There are others further back in the kitchen who volunteered. The lineup of the people cannot be seen out the door and down the courtyard. We served about 90 people today."
