Jeff Christner was the featured Rotarian today. He began his Rotary career as a young banker in the 1990’s in Galveston, primarily for a networking opportunity (obviously before he knew what Rotary was all about!!) which it worked well for him. However, the longer he was in Rotary, the more that the service aspect appealed to him.
When he began delivering Meals on Wheels years ago, he would take his young daughters with him. Now, his eldest daughter living in Denver called her dad to let him know she had signed up for and was delivering Meals on Wheels. Jeff is drawn to giving back to his community; and the one thing that Rotary inspires in him is the ability to pass on the Service Above Self mission to the younger generation.
