Pam Blankenzee called in on Lisa’s phone and was Facetimed into the meeting. Amber asks for who can’t make it. Being out of town is the only excuse!! LOL. We are all volunteers, and are hosts - to make sure guests are welcomed, sit with them, play the games, and have fun.
Allison and Christian are manning the kitchen. A very yummy meal is planned! Dawn and Aldo volunteered to be mocktail bartenders. Emcee is Patrick Harrison with assistance. Omar will manage the runway. Shirley, Linda, and Jim will work the registration table. Raffle tickets will be available at the door. Computers with the Swag Store up will be available for demonstration and ordering. Sherrick and Dayne will manage the games. First will be a team relay of Pass the Beach Ball, no hands. Limbo on the runway will be up next. At the end of the evening will be the Hot Potato Dance Off. Everyone keeps beach balls in the air while the music plays, when it stops those that have a beach ball get to dance off!
Models will take to the runway at 7:30. As they strut their stuff, video screens will show the store site where the shirts they are wearing can be ordered.
Ticket sales of $12,000 so far and does not include a contribution of $1000. Impressive! Close to 370 tickets have been sold. Tickets will be available at the door until 8pm.
