Charlie Williams has eight years of RYLA experience and is a Camp Logistics Counselor and Maria Krychniak has eleven years of experience and is a Past Program Director for RYLA in Rotary District 5870.
RYLA is an intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts where young people can develop leadership skills while having fun and making connections.

The District 5870 RYLA camp is a one week camp held every summer for students going into their Junior or Senior year of high school.  It is completely run by RYLA alumni. During the week they experience night hikes, treasure hunts, service projects, peace projects, Olympics and no cliques.  RYLA 2026 will be held at Twin Lakes Family YMCA, in Cedar Park, TX June 28 - July 3. Their goal for next year is 90 campers, 45 boys and 45 girls.

They need clubs to support the camp and campers.  There are many ways that we can support RYLA including camper sponsorship, $740, meal sponsorship, $500, snack sponsorship, $300, staff sponsorship, $500, and service project support, $250.

RYLA is 40% physical activity, 40% mental activity and 20% eating and sleeping.  And camp is 100% FUN!
