·         The Doodle Romp service project was a blast.  There were 40 dogs running around and playing in the water and we had 9 volunteers from our club!

·         Allison’s husband, Steve, has pneumonia, keep them in your thoughts.

·         September 30, Adoption fest is still needing volunteers and donations!  Contact Heidi Wittenborn to volunteer and here is their Amazon Wish List.

·         Treasurer’s Report - the bank balance was $19,981at the end of August and the Queen of Hearts balance is $580.

·         Service Report - Jenny will be sending out information for two upcoming service projects, the Central Texas Food Bank and Adoption Fest. Look for those coming soon.

Selina began serving on the board of Project Schoolhouse in 2013 and in 2019 she took over as Executive Director.  She served in leadership roles at Whole Foods in the US and the UK for 25 years.  She is a graduate of Rice University in Economics.

Lisa drew the King of Clubs…so the Queen of Hearts lives on!  The pot is really getting BIG!

·         David Jessich - son went back to school at University of St Andrews and daughter is applying to be a paramedic  in Alaska. He protested his property taxes and got a big reduction.  His uncle who was a NYC firefighter was killed in 9/11.

·         Jim McComb - His wife, Sherlene, is recovering from her knee replacement and is doing well. But on a sad note, they lost their dog of many years this past week.
