Announcements - September 6
  • The bowling social was a blast!  Good food, healthy exercise, and FUN FUN FUN!  Ten members participated.
  • Jim’s wife, Sherlene, had knee replacement surgery yesterday and is doing well.

Galindo Elementary - Thank You Message
Speaker - Natascha Barreto-Romero, Principal, Galindo Elementary School
Rick Collins, SARC President, presented principal Romero with a $1000 check from the club.  The funds will be used to support the school’s library and literacy program.

Classification Talk - Gary Gallo
Gary was raised by a single mom and moved to South Austin.  Back when there was a big distinction between living north of the river or being a river rat from south of the river!  He graduated from the University of Texas with a Marketing and Information Technology degree and has worked for Xerox and Dell in tech sales.

Classification Talk - Scott Thomas
Scott grew up in Lockhart, TX and graduated form Texas State University.  He worked on his uncle’s vineyard in Fredericksburg and then at Enterprise Rent-A-Car before he began working for the Boy Scouts of America.  His goal at the Boy Scouts is to make it better.
