  • Pints and Pies for Polio Event was fun and raised $624 for Polio Plus!
  • Eden Park Academy’s second EAFK Knighting Ceremony was on Oct 30th and there were  five members of our club attending, the character trait was Confidence.

Speaker - Jerry Chapman
Jerry is a native Texan. He was born in Dallas where he spent most of his childhood. At age 16, his parents relocated their business to Mineral Wells, Texas where he graduated from high school. After being discharged from the Navy, Jerry returned to Dallas where he completed his engineering studies at the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a graduate of the Anglican School of Theology and serves as a bi-vocational Episcopal Priest in Austin.

Member Spotlight for November is Shirley Moyer Diepenbrock. Meet Shirley, "After retiring, I began searching for a way to meet other professionals of integrity who enjoy doing community service when a good friend invited me to the South Austin Rotary club. I joined in January of 2022 and I'm making friends and having fun...it’s just what I was looking for!"

·    Shirley made the long drive home from Kansas City to attend her close college friend’s 50th wedding anniversary.
·    David went to Spain and entered a license plate competition and won first place and also visited a Rotary club in Spain.
