May 15 - Announcements

Rick and Shirley attended the Knighting Ceremony at Wayside REAL Academy this morning and reported that it was very moving and both felt that the EAFK program is a very worthwhile endeavor for our club to take on.  Photos of the ceremony were shared and members agreed that we would like to build a castle facade rather than use a tapestry backdrop for Eden Park.  If you have or know anyone with theater stage set design experience please contact Shirley.
South Austin and Austin Southwest Rotary Join Forces
Members from our Club and RC of Austin-Southwest worked together this week to spruce up our meeting room. It was a great of service, friendship and fellowship!

Leslie A. Piggott, Author, the Cari Turnlyle Series
 
Leslie is a mom-turned-author who lives in Buda, Texas. She and her husband, Brad, have two children. She has been a long distance runner since middle school and following college graduation began running marathons as a hobby. She has since completed fourteen full marathons with plans for more in the future.
