For our DAP Grant project this year we will be constructing a Gaga Ball Pit at Sunset Valley Elementary School on April 13th. Mark your calendars and plan to come help!  Girl scouts will be there to help us with some of their parents.

Styrofoam collection.  Remember to save all your styrofoam and bring it to our meeting or to the Southwest Club’s booth at the Sunset Valley Farmers Market on the first Saturday of the month.  Contact Jenny, Shirley or Beth Long for help.

Colin Swanson, Executive Director of Mainspring Schools
Mainspring Schools is Austin’s oldest preschool and has been one of South Austin Rotary’s main benefactors for years.  Lisa Killough serves on their board of directors. Colin was a foster mom first and adopted her son in July of 2014. She first enrolled him in the preschool closest to her home and later realized that he was going to need more help than that school could provide.
