RYLA Service---Sherrick volunteered to join the group which completes the needed six volunteers for serving breakfast, at RYLA on Thur, July 2 at 7:15AM! Location: Twin Lakes Family YMCA, 1902 S Bell Blvd, Cedar Park. All volunteers will need to complete a background check form AND take the 30 minute online “Protecting Youth Program Participants” course (needs to be completed by 6/8/2026).
Rotary District Governor Installation---Jeff Coleman’s Installation will be Saturday, June 27 at Pfluger Park beginning at 10:30-1:30 and all are invited. Club Very informal---shorts & flip flops! Backyard BBQ. Not only will DG Coleman be installed, but any Presidents-Elect and District leaders will be recognized and installed. $35; deadline to register, June 17. It would be great if we had lots of South Austin Rotary to attend.
- FOUNDATION GIVING GOAL—REMINDER…to make your contributions to the Rotary Foundation, Annual Giving Fund by the second week of June….to make sure that it gets counted this year. - Our Rotary Social was this past Saturday at the HOPE Gallery in Southeast Austin. See photos here. It was amazing! Patty Hoyt, Shirley, Lisa and son, Kory, attended and were fascinated by all the great interesting painted artwork….all done with spray paint. I thought the facility had been some other type of building in another life, but we were told all the structures were built just for the HOPE Gallery.
