• Amber gave an update on the October 3rd Club fundraiser. She modeled the club T-shirt and announced some of the celebrity models for the fundraiser party. - Sell those tickets!!
• Laura Burger - a Rotarian from Washington state has submitted her application for membership into our club!!
• Our Bat Watching social is 6:45 Thurs Sept 24. Watch for an email from Patty Hoyt on where and when to meet.
• Ann reported that Hana, the Japanese Rotary Exchange student she will be hosting, is due to arrive on September 26th at 5:45pm at the Austin airport. Ann asks for members to join her in welcoming Hana at the airport or at her home. Please let Ann know if you can do this.
• Special meeting September 30 – We will have a fun meeting before the Oct. 3 Runway to Paradise Party. Lisa and Jim will collect the remainder of your ticket stubs and money. Amber & Lisa will give everyone their jobs for the party. Kim Kankel, District 5870 Public Image Chair, will be there to award our Club our 25/26 Public Image Rockstar banner. Socializing and fun!
• Jeff passed around the sign-up sheet for Meals on Wheels, and it’s filled in except for one Thursday – we need a volunteer for October 15th.
• World's Largest Polio Walk on Oct. 24 at 10 AM in Sunset Valley, starting from Doc's Back Yard parking lot. Get your T-shirt here.
• EREY (Every Rotarian, Every Year) - annual fund share. Don't forget to donate to annual fund share! Match is still on for donations of $250-500. 21 clubs on the Leaderboard, but not us yet. The match ends next month or when the funds run out. Look for emails from Rich Kaye for information.
