• It’s a party!  Our club meeting was a beachy event with most folks in Hawaiian shirt attire.   There was beachy steel drum music playing, beach balls flying and little umbrellas in our glasses!     This fun meeting was to capture pictures for the advertising and making of a video for our Runway to Paradise Party! and fundraiser.
     

  • EREY - Annual Fund-Share---last year our Club did not make EREY.   It entails every member giving at least $25 to the Foundation’s Annual Fund.   So, please,  everyone contribute a tax-deductible contribution to the Rotary Foundation – Annual Share Fund.    Online link:  https://my.rotary.org/en/donate 
     

  • RYLA Roundup - August 8th in Round Rock – President Linda and Aldo Rios are signed up to attend and learn more about the RYLA program.   Our Club is committed to not only funding a student to RYLA this year but also selecting the young person.   Sherrick will assist in the student selection process.

  • Sunday, Aug. 16 at 1:30 is our next social outing. We are visiting  “Titanic. The Human Story” exhibit at a history museum on Middle Fiskville Rd.   The exhibit was in Dallas, Chicago, Salt Lake City and Los Angeles.   Let Patty Hoyt know ASAP so she can get tickets.

  • World's Largest Polio Walk on Oct. 24 at 10 AM in Sunset Valley. 

  • Pies for polio event in mid-November.    A date/location has not yet been chosen; but the chair, Mickie Powers, is on it!
