Members of South Austin Christmas party played bingo after their wonderful Christmas meal. Member Heidi Wittenborn organized and ran the game. All of the selections on the bingo cards were words and phrases from grinch stories. This certainly challenged the older members of the group, many of whom had not read and did not have familiarity with grinch stories, phrases, and characters. The party was at the home of Landon and ‘Erica Garza’ and was a potluck style meal except for the wonderful pot roast provided by Erica and Landon. Immediately after dinner and before Bingo the group sang Christmas songs and we’re accompanied by member Brother Mueller on his portable keyboard.
