AGE – Helping older adults age in place for 40 years now.  AGE helps older adults and their caregivers as they navigate the realities and opportunities of aging and caregiving. They now have five locations in Austin.  The South Austin location is at 9400 Alice Mae Lane.

Some of their programs include:   Pathways – which offers Resource Navigation, Support Groups, Education and Care planning.  Thrive – Social and Wellness Centers that offer daytime care for older adults with physical or cognitive needs.  H.E.L.P. - Health Equipment Lending Program – Free incontinence supplies and “gently used” durable medical equipment for older adults in need.  Memory Connections – proactive and supportive community for those with mild cognitive impairment. Technology Learning Lab – helps older adults bridge the digital divide of technology giving them confidence to navigate it and live independently.

AGE now helps the Hispanic community by offering translators in many areas.  In 2024, 388 older adults received specialized care, 1,973 received free health equipment, 1,020 received free education or guidance, 2,171 attended free conferences, seminars or workshops and 22,181 total encounters with older adults and caregivers seeking care, guidance, respite, education or resources.
