The Development of the FBI Central Records Complex
Mar. 03, 2021
With more than 25 years of investigation and security experience, Jonathan is the founder and leader of Bawn. He is committed to understanding client needs and delivering thoughtful solutions to best meet their information needs, improve their security posture, and increase business resiliency. Prior to starting Bawn, Jonathan was a Special Agent at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Jonathan led several complex criminal and counterintelligence investigations, which included the dismantlement of international organizations involved in cybercrime and financial institution fraud. Jonathan eventually rose to become the Chief Technology Officer of the FBI’s Information Management Division, where he managed large-scale technical projects, identified best practices, and developed organizational initiatives for “leap ahead” gains for the agency. After completing his career with the FBI, Jonathan was served as an executive at a rapid growth cybersecurity firm. Jonathan is a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy where he received a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. He subsequently earned a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University, as well as a Master of Science in Systems Architecture and Engineering from the University of Southern California. In 2018, Jonathan completed the Chief Information Security Officer program at Carnegie Mellon University. With a passion for both complex investigations and cybersecurity, Jonathan has served as the Chair of the Virginia Area Maritime Security Council Cyber Subcommittee, which raises awareness of maritime related cybersecurity issues with government, private industry, and industry association members. He most recently served as the Government Vice Chair on ACT-IAC’s Cyber Community of Interest, which provides opportunities for industry and federal government members to identify and provide solutions to critical cybersecurity challenges. |

Making 50 to 75 the best years of life and career!!!
Jun. 23, 2021
Potential is great, but it does not equal performance. Many people today feel overwhelmed by “busy work”, and admit they are not getting all the results they believe are possible in their careers and lives. Where do you put your attention? There is so much noise and so many things pulling our focus away from what is really important…. the people. Our speaker today has become obsessed with helping people take the leap across the gap that exists between potential and results – and doing so via the way they choose to focus on their plans, passion, and the people they interact with on a regular basis. As the host of the popular “Cool Things Entrepreneurs Do” podcast he has interviewed hundreds of business leaders about success. Through these in-depth conversations he has learned that there is no single thing that holds people back. Nor is there a single solution to reaching the top levels of business. While there is no common denominator, choosing people seems to be paramount to ongoing opportunities. Our speaker has had an eclectic career in sales and marketing for Fortune 500 companies, Law Firms, and small companies. He has written 12 books and when he was 21-years-old he was a five day returning champion on the $25,000 Pyramid game show. Please welcome Thom Singer!
