Sad news…..Fernando Kempff unexpectedly passed away January 2.   Inurement Service is Friday, January 23, 11am, Austin Memorial Park Cemetery, 2800 Hancock Dr. Celebration of Life is Sat, Jan. 24 at Onion Creek Country Club. More sad news….
 
Ann Graham’s husband, Stan Cravatt passed on January 12.  He was an honorary member of our Club.  He will be missed.  His graveside service in Adamsville, TX is on the same day, January 24 (this Saturday) as Fernando’s Celebration of Life.

Service To Our Community


 

  • Jenny is working on two service opportunities, a Central Texas Food Bank work day and also with Hungry Souls located on Brodie Lane.
  • District wide Texas Service Day is March 28.   We can use our DAP project as our service day project. The DAP project - build a sand box, sand, a Lego wall and more.
  • The Southwest Rotary Club invites us to join them in their Service Texas Day project, Rise Above Hunger—they need volunteers.  It will be March 28 at Oakhill Methodist Church 7815 US-290, Austin, TX 78736.  Please let Lisa know if you can work that day.

Jim won the opportunity to draw; and he selected the10 of Spades, so the queen lives on and the deck dwindles.  The pot grows…it’s currently around $500.
