The Club social event this past Sunday – Titanic/The Human Story exhibit was excellent as reported by all who attended. The exhibit has been extended through October and is highly recommended to see.

• Scott is a Past District Governor of a Houston District and he is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Austin • For the last three years he has been District 5870’s Polio Plus Chair; this year he has transitioned into the Ambassador of Rotary Culture • Oh…and he is a very proud graduate of OU (okay I’ll spell it out!…the University of Oklahoma!) with degrees in business and petroleum land management

• Ann Graham along with some friends, are going to Ft. Davis mountains. She hasn’t been there in two years, so she’ll check on her house there and hope it’s still standing! • Steve Ross had dinner last week at Marbridge, a non-profit residential community that offers a lifetime of care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It provides assisted living facilities along with skilled nursing options. Ann Graham will contact Marbridge as it should be a good program for the Club.
• Patty Hoyt’s favorite movie is The Big Chill, and the funniest scene is in the kitchen cleaning up after dinner and dancing to Ain’t to Proud to Beg by the Temptations • Sherrick West’s favorite movie…The Conjuring 2 when the family is in the living room and the dad sings Can’t Help Falling in Love • Lorna Lewis really likes the “Bend and Snap” moves in Legally Blonde
