News About The Club
June Member Spotlight: Jim McComb. SOUTH AUSTIN ROTARY is all about service, community and family! Meet our Club Treasurer, Jim McComb: Retired commercial general contractor, first joined Rotary in1978, St Charles Mo. work transfer to Austin in 1984 & joined South Austin Rotary. Business travel kept me from making meetings so I transferred to Austin down town.

The South Austin Rotary Club recently completed a meaningful hands-on service project at Adventurers Academy of Lifelong Learning, making a lasting impact for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

On April 15, Rotary members gathered at the Academy to install shelving in four closets and transform the organization of the facility’s pantry. What may seem like a simple upgrade will significantly enhance the day-to-day experience for participants and staff alike. View the photos.
