Helping the Homeless

South Austin Rotary supports a Clothes Closet and Soup Kitchen at a 170 bed transitional housing facility in southeast Austin.

News About The Club

The Rotary Club of South Austin and Rotary Club of Austin Southwest rolled up their sleeves for an incredible day of service by sponsoring a Rise Against Hunger emergency food packaging event in partnership with Oak Hill United Methodist Church.

In just two hours, volunteers packed an amazing 10,000 meals that will help fight hunger and support families in need around the world. 🌎Our club had 8 volunteers: Patty & Jim Hoyt, Lisa & Kory Killough, Mickie Powers & Mini Kestner, and Jenny & Jeff Turney.   Thanks to all for preparing 10,000 meals!

When Rotarians and community partners come together, we truly show what Service Above Self looks like in action.

April Member Spotlight is Jenny Turney. SOUTH AUSTIN ROTARY is all about service, community and family! Meet member Jenny Montgomery Turney - #Rotarian for 7 years, passionate about volunteering and making an impact in the community and a Duck Fan!

The Rotary Club of South Austin is excited to share a new way to show your Rotary spirit while supporting our service projects — the Club Swag Store and Club Swag Locker.

The Club Swag Store was created by Rotarians to provide fun, affordable Rotary gear through print-on-demand. That means no bulk orders and no extra waste — just the items you want, made when you order. Proceeds from purchases will directly benefit the South Austin Rotary Foundation 501(c)(3), funding both local and global service projects.

For those who want a more customized look, the Club Swag Locker offers high-end products such as polos, performance shirts, and tote bags — all branded with your Club’s official Club Masterbrand logo. The Locker provides members with a polished way to represent Rotary at service projects, community events, or everyday wear.

Both options make it simple to wear your Rotary pride while giving back. Every order helps strengthen the work we do through the South Austin Rotary Foundation.

Visit the Club Swag Store today and explore how you or your club can gear up with Rotary pride while making a lasting impact.
