• RYLA Service---Sherrick volunteered to join the group which completes the needed six volunteers for serving breakfast, at RYLA on Thur, July 2 at 7:15AM!   Location: Twin Lakes Family YMCA, 1902 S Bell Blvd, Cedar Park.  All volunteers will need to complete a background check form  AND take the 30 minute online “Protecting Youth Program Participants” course (needs to be completed by 6/8/2026).

• Rotary District Governor Installation---Jeff Coleman’s Installation will be Saturday, June 27 at Pfluger Park beginning at 10:30-1:30 and all are invited.  Club Very informal---shorts & flip flops!  Backyard BBQ.    Not only will DG Coleman be installed, but any Presidents-Elect and District leaders will be recognized and installed.  $35; deadline to register, June 17.   It would be great if we had lots of South Austin Rotary to attend.

Sherrick West is proud to serve as the District Executive for the Thunderbird District, supporting Scouting programs throughout South and East Austin.  He is originally from a small town in Virginia, but began his Scouting career in North Carolina before relocating to Texas in 2024 and becoming a Scouting professional.
